Welcome to Urraca Private Islands Our Eco-Lodge and Private pavillon provides an authentic island venue with excellent amenities and incredible opportunities to enjoy nature.

The Islands are protected by coral reef and are surrounded by turquoise and fluorescent ocean waters. The area presents diverse marine life and marine vegetation while offering breath taking panoramic views of Cayos Zapatillas, a very well appreciated site for nature lovers passionate.

It is the perfect place for a family getaway or for romance – it is a place to relax and enjoy the island lifestyle most of people dreamed about without ever been able to encounter it.

Ecotourism have here a new definition. Out of beaten path traveling is gorgeous, now imagine there is no path just a wonderful boat trip in between mangroves islands. You will find this small mangroves Island with your dedicated captain.

Now watch the welcome: you will meet capuchin monkey name Toutie. At night a kinkajou name Quiso which is a night living animal will give you a little wink.

You will be served by authentical native Ngöbes which are used to give their hart without counting. The encounter of that kind of civilization is so far away of what we know that it worth the visit in itself.

If not enough you will find this marine wonder that escape any description, including wild life and an unique heated natural pool.

Suspended between sea and sky in one of 5 bungalows powered by solar panels, shower with rainwater, feast on catch of the day, swim in a natural pool & be pampered.

Guest Access: You will have access to multiple special places: - From the dining room and your doorstep you will have access to a natural swimming pool, the bar could be either in the pool or in the dining room area - The bar can also be located on top of the aquarium where live tropical fishes and lobsters - In the dining room you will easily find in your plate fresh lobsters or fresh fish - A suspended platform will allow you for sun or moon bathing - You can access Nirvana by crossing a little bridge and by walking towards the mangroves. Did you know that my Nirvana has two stories, a Bar and Tapas served on demand - The house has also a second floor terrace where you can enjoy your privacy but you can have some visitors, like affections monkeys I aim to protect - A cayuco can bring you all around the island and at night you will experience very special phosphorescent water - At the entry dock when night come you may be able to see a sky so full of stars that you will think it is snowing. - Then good night, good sleep and we start over the next day Interaction with Guests We are totalled oriented tours quality and the unique experience of encountering special people and special environment. Those special people are native of Panama and there name is Ngobe. It is amazing how those people of style leaving like humanity was leaving thousand years ago.
