This gracious plantation home, built in the 1870's, for Maui's first pineapple plantation doctor retains most of its original character, architecture and historic grounds. Set among the charm of Maui's historic plantation towns and magnificent beauty of upcountry, today the doctor's home serves as Maui's original and truly Hawaiian style bed and breakfast; providing lovely Maui accommodations at affordable rates. Here, you will easily experience the best of Maui's both worlds : the trendy tourist areas are nearby yet the Inn is located in a semi-rural and agriculture area known as Maui's North Shore and Upcountry.

Haiku Plantation Inn : Maui Bed and Breakfast is within a couple minutes walking distance to shops, eateries, hike and crater bike tours, gym and yoga classes; public services: post office & bus depot. Our Inn is located in a lovely small community called Haiku on the island of Maui. We are only 17 minutes to the airport and our main city of Kahului, yet our plantation town of Haiku retains its rural character and is proud to keep the heritage of Hawaii's vanishing plantation lifestyle alive. We are only a short 5 minute drive to wonderful beaches, and the towns of Paia and Makawao.

Intimate Country Inn

An initimate Inn with only four guest suites, Haiku Plantation Inn is a large and traditional plantation home. Guests share spacious living, dining and ohana rooms along with our large sun deck, front porch lanai and grounds.

Outdoors
Our two acre estate is nestled among historic grounds. Many of the original trees, shrubs and flowers planted over 100 years ago still thrive here at the estate. The area's oldest Mango tree, original Norfolk Pines and majestic Royal Palms frame our boundaries, while traditional Hawaiian plantings and native species blend with the Western style missionary gardens. Spectacular tropical displays of colorful flowers bloom all around the property and bountiful and delicious fruit grow. A tour around the grounds provides a snap shot in time and a glimpse into history when Hawaiian and Western culture blended around the 1880's.

Complimentary continental breakfast: cold items only due to local laws cereals, breakfast pastries, fresh breads, fresh fruit, yogurts, local specialties, milk, juice, coffee, tea and condiments. Served 8 am in breakfast area. Please note that items vary daily

Cancellation/ prepayment
Payment: 50% upon booking, with balance due 60 days prior to arrival date
Cancel: $75.00 per room cancelled if prior to 60 days prior to arrival date. If after 60 days prior no refund unless room(s) are resold and refund is prorated according to new booking less the $75 cancel fee. After 72 hours prior to arrival date, no refunds. No refunds for no shows or any unused portions of stay once arrived.

Extra person in room, Plumeria only for twin bed to be added is $35 per night to include bed, and breakfast service.
